On the day of surgery we will require the use of an aseptic theatre followed by radiography. To maintain asepsis we politely request that no ‘dirty’ procedures e.g. dentals, are booked on the same day.

The assisting anaesthetic nurse should be an RVN experienced in anaesthesia, pain management and use of the practice’s x-ray machine. Rata are able to supply a nurse (for an additional fee) if you do not have a suitable RVN available. Please advise our administration team on booking if this is something you require.

Our safety checklist can help you plan for the day of surgery.
